Gastech Specialist Events brings Gas to Power Europe Forum to Berlin
Gas-to-Power Europe Forum, Berlin, Germany, 23-25 January 2012
The Gas to Power Europe Forum is designed to review the technical, commercial, legislative and environmental challenges inherent in building Europe’s future gas fired power generation capacity .
For some time, Europe has been looking toward natural gas to play a more dominant role in power generation. With increasing EU legislation on carbon-intensive fuel sources such as coal, lignite and oil, natural gas is seen as a positive “low-carbon” choice. It is readily available through existing infrastructure, flexible, adaptable with current technology and it is relatively cheap and safe.
Gastech Specialist Events Gas to Power Europe Forum will be an opportunity for gas and power companies to come together to discuss the technical and commercial developments underlying the development of gas-fired power generation in Europe thus far and to look to the future.
